How to know that I click on a specific net or instance in the navigator?

Hi.

Is there a way to know that I clicked on a specific net or instance in the navigator?

I know some functions like hsmGetSelected(?type 'net) are existed, but it cannot help my problem.

I want to send the clicked object's information to 3rd-party using ipc functions in the moment when I click.

Thank you.
