Statistical Parameters- Monte Carlo Simulations

Vishesh Gupta

Hi,

I ran the monte carlo simulations successfully. While plotting the statistical parameters, I got the "vtnlvmatch" as the parameter as can be seen in the image below. What does this parameter refer to? Really appreciate if someone can help me.

Thanks and Regards,

Vishesh

My understanding is that the statistical parameters are defined in your PDK. Hence, I think the definitive answer is to check with your foundry. However, given their names and the frequent need to evaluate threshold variation, I might guess the following:

vtplvmatch : low threshold voltage p-channel threshold (assuming M0 and M4 nmos, low threshold voltage devices?)

vtnlvmatch: low threshold voltage n-channel threshold (assuming M1, M2, M3, M5 Mpr, and My pmos low threshold devices?)
