How to setup monte-carlo run for variation analysis in virtuoso

Hi,

I am not seeing any variation in monte-carlo result. When I go to corner setup to provide the values for different parameters, the fields are frozen not letting me select any model files. Please take a look at the screenshot below.

This is 40nm technology; however, monte-carlo works perfectly fine in older technology, there is no issue in selecting the model files in different corners. I am attaching a screenshot below for the working example to share with you what I expect to see in other technology. Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

Supriyo

That simply looks as if you've not set up the corners. You need to use the "Add files" for the Model Files to add them into the corner definitions. Of course, you need to point at model files that have a statistics section, as otherwise you won't get any variation.
