In cadence 6.1.8 64b>> Layout >> assure when performing DRC>> After the run is complete, it should have another pop-up window to ask if you want to view the result I press>> yes. But no error layer window ELW open although there are 6 errors in the DRC.log! do you know why or do you know where I can open it? also when I open it from assure tab open ELW>> I got this error >>**Error**vuiELWcreat:Argument #4 should be string (type template dttt)

I found a report of a similar sequence of errors caused by a bug in the Assura integration which was triggered by switching windows back and forth with ADE (there may be other causes) and it was fixed in ASSURA 41USR6EHF4. You should try downloading the latest IC618-based ASSURA41 hotfix from downloads.cadence.com (you have the "Update" release by the looks of things; the hotfix is more recent).
