Simulate the SiC MOSFET PSpice model downloaded from infineon and encounter the errors

FormerMember

I'm simulating the SiC MOSFET (IMW65R048M1H) PSpice model downloaded from infineon (https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/power/mosfet/silicon-carbide/discretes/imw65r048m1h/?tab=~%27simulation_models#!designsupport) and I used cadence virtuoso. I created a PSpice cell view to build the subckt. However, when building the "MF" model and "bodydiodemodel" model, I encounter the errors 'unexpected comma' or 'unexpected ='. I can't seem to identify the issues causing these errors. Could anyone please help me resolve this ?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Wayne

    Hi,

I guess you use Spectre as simulator.  If you do you have to tell it to expect Spice syntax at the begin of the model:

    simulator lang=spice

    Or include the file with:

    pspice_include  “<psspice_netlist>.ckt”

    See:

Article (11797718) Title: Simulating PSpice netlist in Virtuoso Spectre

    Kind regards,

    Marc

I think the issue is that the models don't appear to be PSPICE models, but for the Simetrix simulator. See  RE: importing pspice model
