Cadence Cannot be launched in RHEL8 OS

Hi,

Recently our IT department has changed the OS of the server to RHEL8. After they installed the cadence, I cannot launch the cadence with the previously-working command. The launch command that I am using is

csh /disk/... and the result I get is:

/opt/coe/cadence/ICADVM201/setup.ICADVM201.linux: No such file or directory.

Is there anything wrong with using the ICADVM201 and RHEL8? If so what is the solution.

Thanks,

Mahdi

    Mahdi,

Officially ICADVM20.1 is not supported on RHEL8 but in practice updates were done in ISR24 to allow it to work (it was just not routinely tested, hence the lack of a statement that it is supported). Are you using a sub-version later than ISR24?

However, the file you are referring to is nothing to do with us - it must be some local addition - so it's hard to know what is wrong in your environment.
