Regarding about the spiral inductor (tsmc 65nm)LVS clean

Respected Sir/ma'am,

I am trying to do LVS for the TSMC-provided inductor like "spiral_std_mu_z_9m" in 65nm. But I am getting the error/warning as

Warning:

"** missing instance **  XL0  spiral_std_mu_z"

The schematic, layout, and LVS error are attached below.

I tried in some ways, but it didn't get LVS clean. The below one is one of the ways I tried.

How does the LVS clean for the spiral inductors?

Kindly help me out of this.

-Thanks & Regards

This is Calibre LVS failing: Not a Cadence tool.

Clearly the device is not recognised in the layout. Check how the rules extract this device. Typically a marker layer is used (otherwise the metal just looks like interconnect).

I think you're using Calibre (which is not a Cadence tool) for LVS, so you might be better off asking this in either a Siemens EDA forum, or contacting TSMC for support.
