mathematical operators between average() functions

In ADE xl version ICADVM20.1-64b.500.32 output setup

I have to calculate average of different signals then use basic operators between them:

average((VT("/net1") * average((VT("/net2") works

average((VT("/net1") ^ average((VT("/net2") works

average((VT("/net1") + average((VT("/net2") doesn't work

average((VT("/net1") - average((VT("/net2") doesn't work

average((VT("/net1") / average((VT("/net2") doesn't work

what's wrong with +,-,/ ?

why only *,^ works?

can you provide examples to do basic math between averaged signals?

is there any other limitations that I should know for embedded functions in expression builder?

Thank you
