Is there a way to close all opened schematic views after defined timeout, say like 1hr?

There's nothing built-in to do this. Implementing it would be possible in theory, but hard, because you'd probably want to be triggered by 1hr of inactivity in editing a schematic rather than 1hr since opening (it would be very annoying otherwise). Potentially you could use a timer (perhaps using my How to schedule a repeating function with a timer in SKILL package which wraps around hiRegTimer in a friendlier fashion) to schedule something that kept a record of the times any schematics were modified (when the modifedCounter changed at the last poll) and then closed windows appropriately. I can see all sorts of challenges with this - such as the fact that you might have a window in which you've descended and the top level didn't change but the lower level did - you'd have to ensure all of this was handled).

I wouldn't bother - I think it would be hard to get right.

What problem are you trying to solve?

    Andrew
