reuse PSS results to run standalone Pnoise

I've got a simple question.

I run Pnoise after the PSS sim. The PSS itself takes long time. If I want to run a new pnoise afterwards, e.g. with new settings, etc. I need to rerun PSS.

Is there a way I can save all the PSS results so that it can be used to run a standalone Pnoise simulation, without going through the PSS again?

Thanks!

    Hi Steve,

Yes, there is a way, you can use writepss/readpss feature for that... it is fairly straightforward to setup and use.

A bit more complicated setup is explained in the article below. I guess you could pick up a few more ideas from there...
How to run multiple small-signal analyses (pac/hbac, pnoise/hbnoise, pxf/hbxf, and so on) in parallel after pss/hb run

Note that you can also run multiple pnoise setups under one pnoise analysis... there is "Multiple pnoise" checkbox that enables it.

    Hope this helps!

    /Janko
