Use Editor Options to set the 'Create Via" calculation mode...

'Min Rules' should achieve closest to what you request. However, the via will not violate foundry Constraint Group rules. i.e. It will not create something illegal. So if DRC has min enclosure (And it's defined in the techfile) this will be applied.

Create->Wire 'Via Configuration' might be setup differently (constraint group or overrides).

    Hi,

I don't know where to find the "Via Parameters Calculation Mode". I am using IC23.1 and when I go to "Create" > "Via" > "Mode: Stack" > "Options", I can't see anything related to Via Parameters Calculation Mode in the popped up "Create Via Options" window... nor on the window for creating the stacked via.
