running dc sweep and single ac analysis in Explorer

Hi,

I can't figure out how to do the following from within the Explorer gui.

I want to run DC analysis for a range of variable values, say, vgs=0.2 0.3 0.4 but run ac analysis only for vgs=0.3 while I am sweeping the full range of frequencies, say from 10Hz to 10KHz.
Is it possible to run bot the dc and the ac together in this context?

Thanks

    Hi Svilen64,

You can set vgs to 0.3 as default, so that it will be applied to your AC analysis.

And then, under your DC analysis you sweep vgs with desired range and step size.

    Regards,

    Alonso

Thanks for replying. Then, the next extension to the question is, what if I wanted to run AC only for a subset of the sweep values for the DC sweep analysis?

In such case you would need to set up a parametric sweep by listing the vgs values you want for the AC analysis under Design Variables, for example by setting vgs value to 0.3 0.4 under Design Variables.

But this parametric sweep will apply to all analyses you have defined for the given Maestro test. If you need to run it just for AC, then you would need keep only this analysis enabled.

If you switch from Explorer to Assembler, then you can define multiple tests each with their own analyses and sweeps enabled. And once this is done, you can run them with one mouse click.
