Change presets for Export image in schematic entry

Hi,

We use this function to put our schematic into a file and then put it into a PowerPoint.

Default is black background and 1X for scale.

Is there a way to preset all the settings in the window, e.g. to get 4X as default and Swap colors to get white background?

Even better would be to also change few other settings like "Hide grid" but then turning it to original setting after the export.

This way we can align much better across the whole design team and get best quality.

Bye Stephan

There's a long-standing request to customize the defaults, but this has not been implemented yet (CCR 1108581 in case you want to contact support to have a duplicate filed).

The best approach right now is covered in Export Image: How to change/set default values

    Hi Andrew,

this link contains indeed one of the very best Cadence hints to tailor something in Virtuoso. Thanks a lot!!

For this task it is almost perfect, also because I can tailor also other schematic settings like hiding the grid.

    Bye Stephan
