Troubles Uploading Pictures on Forum

Hi

When trying to upload/attach a picture for a post on this forum, I get an error message (orange box) saying "An error occurred. Please try again or contact your administrator". The picture I'm trying to upload is fine (tried different pictures and formats), the error is somehow related to the forum software or my browser (latest Firefox on Windows 11 Pro). I remember having seen this error in the past, back then I think it suddenly disappeared again without intervention.

Before submitting a support case I thought I'd ask here if someone knows how to solve this issue? Thanks very much!

  • Yes, this is an intermittent problem that I've been trying to resolve with our IT that look after the forums. Unfortunately it has a nasty habit of going away whenever I need to show somebody - we've not yet spotted the pattern of when it breaks and why - but rest assured we are trying to resolve it.
