Open Layout XL instead EXL by default

I tried to set  'graphic   maskLayoutDefaultApp   string  " Layout XL" ' , but it still remains Layout EXL without taking effect.

This is probably due to the envear 'saveViewSubType'. The default is true. Meaning the layoutXL sub view type is saved and the default is to reopen in the XL tier.

    envSetVal("layoutXL" "saveViewSubType" 'boolean nil)

Save the design, close, reopen; it should now default to 'L' (assuming you are using IC618).

Sorry, I just spotted you want XL tier. The same still applies.

Thanks, I have found the reason why it is not effective. It just doesn't work at 3nm.

EXL is required at 5nm and below.
