simulation was terminated permaturely due to an error

Dear all,

I was using tran analyses to do post-layout simulation, however, the process meets the error in the spectre.out file as follow, could you please tell me how to fix it?

tran: time = 22.53 us (45.1 m%), step = 199.8 fs (400 p%)

tran: time = 22.53 us (45.1 m%), step = 7.302 ps (14.6 n%)

Fatal error found by spectre at time = 22.5265 us during transient analysis `tran'.
FATAL: internal error at sub_expand_search_inside_mim() in intm.c:831

Analysis `tran' was terminated prematurely due to an error.

Internal error found in spectre during transient analysis `tran'.
Encountered a critical error during simulation. Submit a Service Request via Cadence Online Support, including the netlist, the Spectre log file, the behavioral model files, and any other information that can help identify the problem.
FATAL (SPECTRE-21): Assertion failed.

Thank you very much

Which Spectre sub-version are you using? (this will show up in the Spectre log; also "spectre -W" from the command line will tell you this). Which Spectre simulation mode are you using too? Spectre X? APS? XPS etc...

Thank you for your help, my spectre version is15.1.0.284.isr1.

And I'm using XPS to do post-layout simulation to improve the speed.

Why are you using a 10 year old version of the simulator? It's highly unlikely that this issue remains in current, supported versions.
