Simulation from an imported CSV file

JB202507023247

Hello Sir,

I was wondering if there's a tutorial or something for a way to simulate and get graphs of a CSV file of voltage over time imported to cadence ?

I tried vpwlf and vpwlfm but both don't work.

Error CMI 3035 syntax in waveform file .

Ensure that the time values are entered in pairs w each pair specified in separate line.

But already the CSV has only one column for time

Thank you

    Hi,

Do you want to view the signal defined in .csv, or use this signal to drive a circuit in Spectre?

You can try loading this .csv into ViVA and see if you get the expected waveform. From ViVA, you can also export out a 'VCSV' format file (click on the trace -> Send to -> Export). This file can be used with vpwlf source in Spectre.

    Regards,

    Saloni
