How to use schematic view of a sub-circuit and extracted view of everything else

Hello,

I have changed the device parameter in one of sub-circuit and would like to use this in 'schematic view' and everything else in extracted view. I do not have individual extracted views of the other circuits so that I can use the config view window and change the instance type. Does anybody have an idea here?

    Hi,

Is this sub-circuit that has been changed (and you want to use its schematic view) already extracted as part of your extracted view? If yes, then you won't be able to achieve what you've described. Extracted outputs are flat, which means that the subcircuit hierarchy isn't preserved. If you can re-run extraction with this particular sub-circuit black-boxed, you can choose to use its schematic view from config view.

Here's a short video which explains this flow -

    Regards,

    Saloni
