The current direction is different after simulation with different fingers of the same mos

Hi,friends

After extracting the dspf file with calibre, the current flowing through the S terminal of the mos tube with 2 fingers inside, one finger Isource is negative and one finger Isource is positive (the two Isource should be exactly the same). Is there a way to set them to have the same current direction?

Friends, I found that in the dspf file, the pin order of the two fingers is the same. Only by manually reversing the order of the s and d of one of the fingers in the dspf file, the Is are the same after simulation, which is very strange.

Most likely this is a consequence of how Calibre is LVSing the device (I'm guessing here) - because usually LVS rules would see the Source and Drain as equivalent and hence it could be extracted either way around, and then matched. However, without seeing the DSPF it's hard to be sure - so I would suggest that you contact customer support (submit a support case after logging in using the Case menu), and then an AE can determine whether it's something you'll need to speak to Siemens EDA about. I'd be quite surprised if Spectre is getting this wrong though...
