information about (description of) gsclib045 components?

Is there a document that explains what each cell in gsclib045 does, and how?

I can tell (in the most general terms) that something like AND3X8 is an "and" gate, has 3 inputs, and has X8 output strength.

However, I get lost when trying to tell the difference between e.g. DFFHQX1 and a DFFQX1. They're both clocked DFFs with a Q (no Q_B) output, and, when looking at the schematic, some transistors have different sizes. But what's different about the "H" version, and is that written down or explained anywhere (like e.g. a "data sheet")?

Thanks!

There is a doc directory within the standard cell kit, which talks about the major categories of cell but does not explain the difference between DFFHQX1 and DFFQX1.

I took a very quick look and they are clearly different, but not sure what the H means.

I suggest contacting customer support - at the very least we should improve the documentation of the library.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks much for the reply! If anything, the "H" version seems to present a larger *input* load (larger transistors picking up the D input signal). Both H and "non-H" variants appear to have similar/matching output strengths...

I'll follow up with customer support, maybe there's a "lost" (portion of) the gsclib045 manual floating around somewhere Slight smile

    Thanks again,
