VIVA: Change color/disable highlighting around current (sub-)window

Hi! Is is possible to change the color or disable the red highlighting around the current (sub-)window?

For documentation purposes I need to take snapshots like the one below, and would like to get rid of the resulting red frame.
Had a look at the VIVA env. vars & also tried playing with the .Xdefaults file, but had no luck.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Jorge.

Once again I'm being unable to embed images in the post, please use the link below to see the example I meant:

I keep on getting a message "An error occurred. Please try again or contact your administrator." when trying to embed images here. so I cannot upload the example I wanted.
But I'm talking about the red frame that is always present in Viva around the active (sub-)window.

    Hi Jorge,

Why don’t you use File->save image (or export image - I forget what the menu is called)?

Hi Andrew! It's for practical reasons: taking a snapshot of a VNC window and pasting it into a PPT slide is an order-of-magnitude less clicks / keystrokes than saving the plot as a file and importing it into PowerPoint, which is also true for other stuff like schematics & layouts. So for presentations with lots of schematics, layouts and simulations (e.g. design reviews), taking VNC snapshots saves tons of time! Slight smile

The File→Save Image (it was Save, not Export!) does have a "Copy to Clipboard" button which might be able to copy through the VNC session (it works with Exceed Turbo X I believe, and it certainly works with my Linux session running under VMware on my Mac Book). However, there is a limitation - the "Save all sub windows" doesn't work with Copy to Clipboard (it's greyed out). CCR 3093409 is for that (I filed it relatively recently).

One little dirty trick - use File→New Subwindow→Polar (you might need to add two if you have a 2x2 auto sub window plot like the one you showed, so you get a third row), and then grab the line between the 2nd and 3rd rows of subwindows (i.e. just above the polar windows) and drag down to the bottom. If one of these new polar sub windows is the current window, the red is around that, and then when you drag it you can make them zero size. I chose Polar because it doesn't put the axis on the side - and it's easier to fully hide the contents. A bit devious, but maybe it's a workaround for what you need. I can't find a way of hiding the red indicator which indicates the current subwindow (I wondered about whether you could change the color, but I don't think this is configurable). This may be more work than just saving the image from within the tool!

The empty subwindows trick it suffices my purposes; thanks so much Andrew!
Indeed changing the color of the active subwindow indicator would be the simplest solution (I'm already doing that for a similar problem with the active strip indicator, using viva.rectGraph activeStripCueColor); if you ever find out how to do this please let me know!
    Cheers, Jorge.
