Cadence PEX Directory Creation - Unable to Create the Directory for Netlist

Hi All,

I have been struggling to do the parasitic extraction on my standard cell which has several Metal/Po layers. I did the DRC and LVS without any issue and seems to be running into a problem in parasitic extraction of the cell and in generating the netlist. The Calibre PEX netlist extraction does not work as intended. It complains about not having the right directory to save the netlist. The error message in the CIW window actually looks like below:

I see the following:

It says, it cannot create or access the "/remote/home" directory. My question is, where do I have to set up this location /remote/home/ in the Cadence PEX process ?

Anuradh,

As I mentioned in your other post, Calibre is a tool from Siemens EDA, not Cadence, and they also provide all the interfaces to the tool. You should ask this questions in a Siemens EDA forum or to their support.

So this is not "the Cadence PEX process" (you'd be using Quantus if you were using a Cadence tool).
