Import HSpice Protected Netlist

Hello,

I'm trying to import HSpice netlist from ONsemi's Level Translators | FXL2TD245 ".inc " file. Using Spicein gui. But at the end of the netlist there is an encrypted section:

"
.prot FREELIB
Hb4/[GsWT3ijJY-IP_D!7=#$(9=h$-JW[[X!8Y#v9-X':x#2;[Xp[S[W6K>/L  ……"

that SpiceIn cannot interpret:

" line 232: Error: *** Encrypted *** Cannot run the simulation because syntax error `Unexpected end of line' was encountered at line 233, column 1. Correct the syntax error and rerun the simulation."

If I remove this protected part, the importing runs well, but gets an error because is missing a cell, that refers most certainly to the encrypted part.

How can import this protected cell?

Best Regards

Duarte

    Duarte,

You can't. Cadence tools cannot read files encrypted for HSPICE (a Synopsys simulator) in the same way that their tools can't read files encrypted for Spectre (a Cadence simulator).
