Cadence virtuso aging simulation

Hi All,

I am running a gradual aging simulation for 2,4,7,10 , However intermediate points are disabled and only final aging points is getting simulation . Later I set the environment variable runLastAgePointForGA to true. This enable the aging points ,however TMI deg files are not getting generated for intermediate points. i,e 2,4,7 .
Could you please help us on how to enable this setting .

Regards,
Praveen

    Hi Praveen,

    • Your description is a bit confusing. The default behaviour is as follows:

envSetVal("maestro.gui" "runLastAgePointForGA" 'boolean nil) : Default Value
Gradual aging point : 2y 4y 7y 10y -> All the intermediate points will be simulated and corresponding report will be generated.
You can check the report by switching Detail -> to Reliability Report  in ADE Assembler Results View.

    • envSetVal("maestro.gui" "runLastAgePointForGA" 'boolean t) : Modified
Gradual aging point : 2y 4y 7y 10y -> Stress stage will simulate all points but Age stage will run only 10y.

If you want to see all the intermediate reports for (2 4 7..) keep runLastAgePointForGA set to nil (Default value).

    Thanks

    Yagya

    Hi Yagya,

Thanks for your reply. Currently we have set the envSetVal("maestro.gui" "runLastAgePointForGA" 'boolean nil) and gradual aging points (2,4,7,10)are simulating for stress and aged point simulating only for 10 yrs.

We need simulation for all aged points. Individual TMI deg files for each aging points 2,4,7,10.

It looks like it was disabled during TSMC PDK setup.

Please let me know if you have any solution.

    Regards,

    Praveen

    Praveen,

How did you set envSetVal("maestro.gui" "runLastAgePointForGA" 'boolean nil) ? In CIW or in your .cdsinit file.
It only affects if you set it in .cdsinit file and re-start your virtuoso.

    Thanks
    Yagya
