Issue with the ADE Explorer/Assembler simulator

We have recently installed a new version of Cadence, and we are experiencing an issue with the ADE Explorer/Assembler simulator. The following error appears in the Virtuoso terminal:

Optimize Single Point Run netlisting done. Simulation started...

Loading mmsimenv.cxt

ERROR (WIA-1175): Cannot waveform signals because no waveform data is available for plotting.

And in the computer terminal:

*/ spectre.out: No such file or directory

From this, I understand that the simulation is not being executed, although I am not sure what the cause might be.
