Cadence Virtuoso IC6.1.8 - Layout GXL Automatic Placement

Dear all,

I am using Layout GXL of Cadence Virtuoso IC6.1.8. In the layout window, there is the Virtuoso Analog Placer that helps me with automatic placement by choosing Place --> Analog --> Automatic Placement.

However, with this the default setting for the Virtuoso Analog Placer, very few placement possibilities are covered. My goal is to explore various placement possibilities for my layout design, so I will need to change the settings of the Virtuoso Analog Placer for this purpose. The analogy can be made to the Wire Assistant Window to tune the settings of the Virtuoso Space-based Router for multiple routing possibilities.

However, I am having difficulties in figuring out how to change the settings for Virtuoso Analog Placer for various placements of my layout design. Can you please help me with this?
