var() not working when used in variable section of Maestro view.

Hello, I recently moved my testbench from IC618 to IC23.1 (ISR 15.37). 

Some of the global variables use the VAR() statement and it seems that is causing netllisting error. 

examples are : 

VAR("DEC_INC_FILE")

VAR("DEC_DIRECTORY")

I couldn't find a solution in the documentation yet so any tips will be greatly appreciated.
