load previous "interactive" dataset from a user defined directory

Hello all,

after I run a simulation within ADE assembler I'd like to store the results (I think I'd like to store the PSF, but I am  not 100% sure) it in a specific location, since the scratch folder where the simulation results are stored, gets cleaned up every two weeks.

To do that I found the button shown here below

afterwards (it can be several weeks after) I'd like to reload this data into my ADE assembled in a similar way when I do "view results" from a previous history. I'll need to do that because my ADE Output setups has a bunch of equations that  assess the dataset (for this reason loading the psf data into VIVA won't serve the purpose).

does anyone knows how to do that ? I browsed a bit but I haven't found a way to load historied from directory . "File-->Import history" does not seem to work here since it loads data only from other cells.
thanks
Tommaso

    Tommaso,

IC25.1 provides a new Move Data menu as part of an overhaul we've done to allow flexibility about the data locations. From the history tab of the Data View assistant:

You get this UI. This allows you to move stuff around.

    thanks Andrew.

is there a way to the  re-load this data into ADE ? (a sort of "load interactive.XX")

Well, you need the actual history entry to exist - either in the cellView itself or in the simulation directory (if it's an "RO" history) - you can move a history from the cellView using the "Move to Project Directory (Make Read Only)" menu or back using "Move to Cellview (Make Writable)" menu item in the history tab. Then you can use the form above to move the results database (rdb) and waveform (psf) around.

You can't move the actual history data (which is the information about the active setup for that history) to an arbitrary location other than by changing the simulation directory (via the asimenv.startup projectDir cdsenv var) and then moving the history to the project dir (as described above) and then moving psf to wherever you want as above. Maybe that's what you want?
