SpectreX parasitic reduction question

gangliurfic
gangliurfic 11 days ago

In the past, when enabling post layout parasitic optimization, I would get below message int he sim log, showing how much cap and res got reduced.

Notice from spectre during initial setup.

Spectre X Enabled.

Parasitics Reduction Enabled.

(Resistors reduced by 89.07% Capacitors reduced by 65.48%)

Now I still chose parasitic optimization - MX, but I don't see any res/cap reduction message anymore, e.g. how much is reduced.

Spectre X preset=mx enabled.
Spectre X postlpreset=mx enabled

Is this expected? how can I see the parastic r and c reduction percentage?

Currently using spectre25.1_ISR7, past I don't remember, a few years back.

Thanks!
