multi-conditional search and replace in Cadence5.1

Hello. 

I want to replace all instance in schematics whose cellname is * and library name is lib1, to cellname *m and libary lib2. 

The search and replace menu can not do this. 

Does anyone has a skill programming to automatically do this?

  • This isn't exactly what you want, but is close enough that a bit of tweaking could do it. It already supports regular expressions in the fromLib/fromCell/fromView parts, but not in the destination toLib/toCell etc parts - I'm sure you could modify it to suit your needs though.
