Importing GDS file in cadence

Hi,

I would like to import gds file,which available in my server.

I have used import->stream option..

after I import I am getting  "Error load : Cant access file "

I tried with few other items :

"Value of the option 'techfileName', defined in the template file,contains spaces,spaces not allowed."

I have to use Opus DB or ASCII Dump or Techfile.....?

 If I try to import using OpusDB It says "FATAL (299): Stream out was unable to find a primary cell in the input database
Compiling Class 'layerDefinitions'.....
Compiling Class 'layerRules'...........

Thanks for your reply

    Hi Selvakumar,

    your gds2-file contains a lot of hierarchy but no shapes at all;
    this might be the reason why you are seeing "something" but no drawing;

    what you can see are just the references to subcells; if you reduce the
    display depth ( "e" resp. Options - Display, -> "Display Levels Stop" to 0 or 1),
    you'll see the references themselves;

    i assume the file has been streamed out using a invalid layermapping, thus
    the hierarchy has been streamed out correctly but no layer-data. Try to get
    a new (and confirmed) version of your file.

    kind regards

    Stefan
