SKILL profiler

I want to use profiler to profile the time spent in each function. Basically, I am calling top-level function and it calls many other functions. I want to profile time spent in each of the functions.

I started profiler, but before I press "stop" button, virtuoso was busy. You can not do anything, while your code is executing. If I don't press stop button then once function completes, the profiler window automatically shuts off.

Does anybody know how to use that profiler?

 Thanks.

Hi Andrew, thanks for quick response.

My code doesn't have hiCloseWindow function. In a simple words, the code opens a cell, automate the layout process by calling other user defined functions, save the layout and returns. Is there anything I should change to enable profiling?

    Thanks.
