custom ruler?

I would like to have a more visible ruler in the layout editor. What would be nice is to have the background black out while having whatever color for the ruler. Does anyone have any idea on how this can be done?

  • You can change the color/line thickness of the ruler by using the Display Resource Editor for the hilite drawing4 Cadence system layer.

    CIW->Tools->Display Resource Manager
    The press Edit and look for the hilite drawing4
