How to draw a serie of polygons with gradually tilted angles

 There is a row of "a" rectangle objects (about a few thousands) and a row of "b" rectangle objects. The "a" objects has a pitch distance of 0.5 mm, while the "b" object has a pitch distance of 1mm. I want to connect "a" to "b" using a serie of simple polygons (with a width of 0.2mm).    Is there a program to do this, or I have to draw it one by one manually.  Thanks.

    Hi Yichun,

    I just saw the title was "with gradually tilted angles" - in this case, if any angle is allowed, you can just give the end points of each path, something like the following (with path ends adjusted slightly so that they overlap the rectangles and do not leave "notches"):


    ;; other code same as above ...
    dbCreatePath(geGetEditCellView() "metal1"
    list(astep*i:maxy+width bstep*i:miny-width)
    width
    )
    ); end of for loop

    Again, I tested this briefly, but you would need to test with your own parameters.
