 Hi,

   as we know, we can get the designVarList=asiGetDesignVarList(asiGetCurrentSession()) , the return result maybe like this

(

("wselect" "4u")

("thesecond" "value")

("thethird" "value")

)

and now, i want to get the parameter value ,for example , the first parameter its value should be 4u, but i try several times, it always return "4u", may I get the value of wselect? what's your opinion?

designList=asiGetDesignVarList(asiGetCurrentSession())
foreach( var designList
       if(car(var)=="wselect"
         then printf("%L" var)
              a=nth(1 var)
              printf("%d" a )
         else printf("not find")
         )
       )

Regards,

zfeng

    Zfeng,

    Design variable values are always strings. If you want to convert it to a number, use a function such as cdfParseFloatString() or aelNumber() to do the conversion.

    Even then, you won't be able to use "%d" to print it, because that is for printing integers - and this clearly isn't!

    Regards,

    Andrew.
