how to recovery a layout cell that deleted in the library manager

 I deleted a layout cell in the library manager,and I find that there is no layout file in the cell file ,just schematic and symbol files.I want to know how to recover the deleted layout. Thanks a lot.

    Hi flywonder

    It is quite unfortunate that you have lost your layout. There is actually no way to recover it. Contrary to what some customers believe, Virtuoso does not keep a secret cache of data for data recovery. : )  I get this question sometimes. Your best hope is to check if your file server has a snapshot function which does backups at regular intervals (e.g. hourly, daily, etc).

    It might also be possible to recover the file using a commercial tool such as R-Studio for linux.
