Hi All,

How to know you are editing FigGroup (Clone) in Edit-In-Place ?

How to convert box using enterBox when you are editing FigGroup (Clone) in Edit-In-Place ?

Thank you,

Charley

    Charley,

This is covered in Solution 11573240 . The trick is to use the function leGetEditFigGroup() to find out whether you're "in" a figGroup. Not sure what you mean about "convert box using enterBox". The coordinates should be in the same coordinate space as the containing cellView, so no need to convert anything.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

I have a cell (from MakeCell) , when in Edit-In-Place , needs to transforming box

and then using dbCreateParamInst() , it can put in correct coordinate.

But now when in Edit-In-Place By  FigGroup , after transforming box  and then use

dbCreateParamInst() , though it can put in correct coordinate , but not inside the FigGroup , It's on Top Level.

    Thank you,

    Charley

    Charley,

If you look at the solution I mentioned, it explains how to do this. It's a matter of calling dbAddFigToFigGroup to add your newly created object into the fig group you're inside.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
