HI, I am trying to write some information (eg pin names ) from both layout and schematic in an excel sheet. I am not able to write it in a separate column using outfile() and fprintf() command. Can any one help me with this? I am IC 5

    Hi,

You can use a tab ("\t" within a printf output string) or a comma to create a tab-delimited or comma-separated (csv) format file that you can then read in directly with Excel. The tab or the comma would separate the columns, print the first line in the same format but with the column headings.

    Hope this helps.

    Lawrence.
