TechFile: Is there a way to combine techfile, beside using incremental method?

Hi,

Is there a way to combine 2 techfile, besides using incremental techfile. I have 2 techfiles, which i use incremental method to consolidate 2 techfile into one. Example: techlibA and techLibB, and techLibB is reference to techLibA. I managed to get all infomation and layers in techlibB including info in techLibA. But if i try to retrieve infomation from techlibA, i cant get the tech info that i store in techLibB.

Is the any way i can get all techInfo, no matter i use techfile from techLibA, or techlibB?

Thanks

    How,

What you're asking for doesn't really make sense to me. If you have an incremental tech db, which techB referencing techA, it makes no sense to expect to be able to access techB info when you're using techA - but the other way around does make sense. Why would you want to access information from the "wrong" technology file? It seems a very strange request - so I suspect there's a misunderstanding here (either my misunderstanding, or your misunderstanding as to how ITDB should work).

    Andrew.
