How to change the default X-axis for "deriv" function

Hi,

anybody know how to change the default x-axis for deriv function?? 'cause I want to take deriv relative to another variable.

I tried ocnYvsYplot to change the default x-axis, and then use the return value of ocnYvsYplot as the input parameter for deriv, it fails.

anybody have any idea about this?

Thanks.

    ocnYvsYplot seems to return a list of the results - so you'll need to do:

    newWave=car(ocnYvsYplot(...))

    then you can use deriv on that.

    Andrew.
