hi,

 Is there any posibility to delete layout/schem banner menu item by name (or something distinctive) instead of by it's relative position number? Also it would be nice if the solution could work both for IC6 and IC5.10.4***

many thanks. :D

     My solution is :

    ;; remove possible previously loaded menu
    (procedure RmBannerItemByName(l_menuName @optional (window_id window(1)))
     (if (length member( l_menuName hiGetBannerMenus(window_id)) )
      (hiDeleteBannerMenu window_id
       (difference
        (length hiGetBannerMenus(window_id) )
        (length  member(l_menuName  hiGetBannerMenus(window_id)))
        ))))

    RmBannerItemByName('trEdPulldownMenu)

    Does it work with you ?

    I did not check yet Adrews solution.

    Hope it helps.
