Viewed Layers

Hi,

I am using cadence - virtuoso - version 6.1.5

I am interested in THE most efficeint method - using skill - to return a list of all viewed layers.  I thought that:

mapc('leIsLayerVisible leGetValidLayerList(techGetTechFile(hiGetCurrentWindow()~>cellView~>lib)))

would be it - however - it did work so well!   Any IDEAS?

MEGA THANKS!! in advance,

John Wilwert

    John,

    I see that behaviour if I am using a Filter (i.e. a "layer set") or the "Used Layers Only" checkbox - because then the "NV" button is only turning off the visibility of the layers shown in the palette, and not those which have been filtered. If I have "All Valid Layers" in the filter, and "Used Layers Only" turned off, I get just the entry layer shown.

    Are you filtering the layers somehow?  Also, there's the Right Mouse->Edit Filter Layers form which could filter layers shown...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
