dialog box

Hi,

I wan to display a form which will show a variable parameter in the dialog box which is in the dialog text parameter.The code is as follows but it is showing error.

I want to know whether this is correct function i m using or some other function is there to get my requirement.

    Isn't the error fairly obvious? You have the ?dboxText argument as a string with embedded quotes without them being escaped. In fact worse - it has a SKILL function embedded in the string - assuming this was even possible, how would it know where the literal string characters end and the SKILL function starts?

    It should be:

    ?dboxText    sprintf(nil "Current limit:%L mA/Um" i)

    And by the way, you don't really need to use gensym for the ?name argument since the dialog box is modal (and hence you only ever have one displayed at once).

    So ?name 'EMdbox would be sufficient.
