how is the input.scs generated?

Hi,

i wonder how to generate the cadence "input.scs", as i know, it is composed by several parts, such as, netlist header, netlist, and netlist footer, but i want to modify the netlist and without changing the schematic, for example, adding a capacitor in a circuit node. who has done such works? certainly, we can modify the netlist manually, but i would like to do this by some skill function, is it pratical and possible?

    Hi Bernd,

thanks for your reply, you're right! i know how to format output, but i don't know the function which can extract the information from the design session, such as analysis info or circuit netlist, i think the ADE artist itself also generate the several parts, and merge them together. so what i want to do is to chang the netlist part after the netlister generate the netlist, and then  merge the serveral parts together. as you said, it's true. the perl is powerful enough for merging files together.
