Skill code to assign Connectivity to Metals

 Hi,

I am looking for a skill code with the help of which I can assign connectivity to all the metal and via layers connected to a AP layer. The AP layer has the connectivity information. I am looking for a generic code which asks for input metal layer having the connectivity information. Then it propogates or assigns same net connectivity  to all the other metal and via layers connected with the Net. This will help in getting all metal and via layers and not only AP layer during def out.

Please help me with the code.

Thanks & Regards

You should be able to do this by using Layout XL and then running the extractor in Layout XL to re-extract the connectivity (depending on the version - older versions do this automatically - newer versions don't for performance reasons, unless it's needed).
