    Hi,

Your question is still not clear.  When you say "content" did you mean "context" ?  If so, you cannot reverse engineer what is encoded in a context file.  In the Cadence supplied context files there is a .toc file alongside that shows which functions are included in the .cxt file.  If you are talking about loading procedures from a .il file, when using the debugger Virtuoso retains information about where a function is defined (which file, which line in that file) - you can get similar information by running the SKILL Surveyor (Tools -> SKILL Development -> Surveyor) and turning on the .defn and .info file generation (where functions are defined and used, respectively) - this statically analyses the files that you setup on the form.

I'm not sure if this helps, but hopefully it does.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
