Skill Script to generate Letters in Virtuoso Layout

Hi All

 I'm looking for a skill script to be able to write letters (upper or lower case) into a form select the height of the letters and the mask layer and the result is an instance in Virtuoso layout of the letters I've written

    I did something like this when I created rev letters.

    I had to create each of the letters as a polygon and record the points, using a path and merge the shapes gave me the best results.

    Draw all the letters lower left at the origin.

    To change the size of the letter I would use the dbTransformPoint magnification, so draw the letters an easy height to do the magnification, Ex 0.1nm.

    Then the script would parse the string by each character and match the character to the polygon drawn.

     

    Sorry it is not the code to draw but process I used to do rev letters. I will see if I can find the script to give a starting point.

    Just a thought, attach the letters to the first character or put the letters in a group.
