Undo/recall selection

Hi,

I'm looking to auto store a selection set in layout to create the option of an undo/recall selection. It would involve storing the selection set automatically each time a set of objects are selected. How would I go about calling a function automatically in this manner, ie without need for a bindkey?

Rgds,
Brian.

    Hi Brian,

This is standard functionality in IC61 (I can't remember precisely when it was added, but it's definitely in IC615 and IC616, and earlier too I believe).

You can turn it on from Options->Selection (turn on Auto Store), and then you can access Edit->Select->Previous Saved Set (or Next Saved Set). You can also explicitly save a selection (with a name) from the Edit->Select menu. The functions you would put on bindkeys are: geSelectPreviousAutoStoreSet() and geSelectNextAutoStoreSet().

You didn't mention which version you were talking about, so hopefully this is sufficient.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
