I have duplicate pins in my layout and schematic but when i am acessing the pins duplicate pins are reported only once. I am trying to create text file listing all the pins in schemtic and layout. Please suggest me a way such that redundant pins are reported.

    Sorry Andrew i was not clear in my Question.

    Though most of the time its good to have but sometime we have faced issue and these issues are caught at a very later stage of the design which cost 2-3 days.

    So again my question was suppose in a schemtic i have multiple pins with same name and i want to list them with number of occurence how it can be done.

    now if i am accessing scehmatic something like:

    cv =  geGetEditCellView()

    cv~>terminals~>name

    it will list all the pins once so i am not able to figure out a way to count the number of duplicate pins.
