How to automatically update a stringfield from a combofield update

Dear all,

does anyone has already done, in a SKILL GUI, an automatic update of a stringfield when an item is selected by a user in a Combofield

    Assuming that your hash table has entries keyed off the values in the combo field, it would just be:

                ?callback "hiGetCurrentForm()->string->value=CCFhashTable[hiGetCurrentForm()->combo->value]"

    So for example, if you have:

    CCFhashTable=makeTable('myTable "No entry in hash")
    CCFhashTable["one"]="The number 1"
    CCFhashTable["two"]="The number 2"
    CCFhashTable["three"]="The number 3"

    and then use the code I provided earlier with the modified callback, it would do what you want (if I've understood you). These seems pretty obvious, so maybe I've missed something in what you're asking?
